Flying in the cold weather is possible, I do it all the time up here in Maine. Battery life is definitely shortened and hands may get a little numb, but there are generally some nice scenes to be shot. Flying in a snowstorm wouldn't be advised, as the moisture from the snowflakes could make their way into the drone and ruin the electronics. Light snow may be okay, but it's not something I would want to test with an expensive drone.
