“Is the media mod needed for the light to be attached? Also can this be used while in the protective housing?”

• The Media Mod is needed if you want to attach the Light Mod to the setup. You can use the Light Mod separately though (ex. handheld) though. There is not a mounting bracket on the protective housings, so the Light Mod can not be attached to those housings.
