QuestionCan you remove the protective lens cover from the housing? Say I want just the cover to protect go pro But the footage has a glare from the lens cover I already removed from cam! Can I remove from housing too? Thank You!

- Answer Yes, you could do that. However, if you are removing the protectors from the camera and from the housing, we will want to be careful about allowing any damage to the exposed lens.

- Answer The camera with the housing is going to be negatively buoyant in fresh or salt water. You'll want to make sure the camera is secured to you or attached to a mount like the Handler if you're using it in open water.

QuestionCan the mount mechanism on the bottom of the housing be removed for better ergonomics when not mounted?

- Answer No, it’s all one piece. The only removable part is the back door cover which can be switched out with the included “skeleton cover” which allows you access to the touch screen on the back of the camera. Keep in mind, the “skeleton cover” DOES NOT keep your GoPro watertight past the cameras default water depth of 33 feet. To go deeper, you must you the regular back cover door!

- Answer The GoPro MAX is a different form factor than the HERO models, so this housing will not work in the MAX. GoPro does not make a protective housing for the MAX, but there are protective lenses available.
