“The stand says it is 66 inches. How is this then for an 85-inch tv? The tv will be wider than the stand and will overhang 4.5 inches on each side.”

• Hi Shopper, This stand is able to accommodate the base/feet of many larger TV's (please check your TV's specifications) as well as the weight. Having the sides past the edges of the stand give it a "pedestal" look which is quite common. As for the 4.5" of overhang, this would be about the maximum we would recommend for esthetics, or the stand may start to look too small. All the best,
