Hello, the life expectancy of a Jitterbug product varies depending on multiple factors. All new (originally purchased) phones, device, accessories and batteries come with a 1-year warranty that protects against manufacturing defects. If the product should fail within the first-year due to a manufacturing defect, the product would be replaced. Good question. My father had his previous Jitterbug for 12 months, and then started experiencing issues - which is why we just replaced it. With the low cost, I consider this a value, even if we have to replace it annually.
Mine lasted 18 months and fell apart. Warranty is only 12 months. I have to buy a new phone now. The adhesive that holds the back cover disintegrated so the phone literally split into two halves. Jitterbug sad the would not repair it and I would need to buy a new phone --Jitterbug Smart 2 User
I just spoke with a Great Call rep regarding the issues my father's having with his phone - it is 4 years old; she said the life expectancy is two years.
