Yes! I had my Mom's long-time landline number ported to her Jitterbug - her friends can still find her, and she didn't have to get used to a new number. Just be sure that the timing of current carrier and the Jitterbug folks are in sync so it happens seamlessly.

We jumped through their hurdles for days and our old carrier has done what they needed to do. Jitterbug (Lively), however, REFUSES to transfer the phone number without a "port pin" from the old carrier. But the old carrier does not issue port pins. Lively REFUSES to even try to solve the matter and just told an 88 year old woman she would just have to keep paying 2 phone bills with 2 phones if she wanted to keep her old number. They have ZERO interest in helping the customer in any way at all.

The information you will need to process this request is 1. Keep your existing account active 2. Activate your Jitterbug Flip phone 3. Call Customer Service and provide them with the other carrier’s account number, password or PIN, billing address, billing contact’s name and the last four numbers to their SSN 4. Once the port request completes, power cycle your phone until the number has updated 5. Call the existing provider to verify the account has been disconnected. Contact our Customer Service at 1(800)733-6632 between 5AM – 10PM, Pacific Time.
