Hello, we would like to thank you for your interest in GreatCall. The Jitterbug Flip is a basic flip style phone. It does not support voice to text or a QWERTY keyboard. In order to enter a text on the Jitterbug Flip you will need to use the numeric keys on the keypad. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You text by pressing numeric keys to to cycle through the letters also printed on the key. It is surprisingly easy and fast. My disabled brother with shaking hands uses this phone and says it is "excellent". The keys are large physical buttons, so typos are few, unlike a smartphone with a tiny soft keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The phone was a piece of junk! The salesman could not get running and told us to take home and charge it overnight. It seemed to be charging but in the morning it was completely dead. No lights would light nothing! What a piece of junk!
