  • QuestionWhen ur company crowd sources the next venture Skynet. Approximately what year will you produce the T1000? Will there still be support for this model Though it has been out of production for years? Also do you make coffee makers?

    Asked by Goldeneye.

    • Answer These are great questions. The T1000 will soon be the cornerstone of what is currently a shell company. Under the parent companies control. The delivers of this lawnmower robot still are unsure of who made Skynet. All research points to the lawnmower as the culprit. We have been calling the unknown individual lawnmowerman. It appears T1000 is scheduled for soft launch in 2289. The app for that product will be 1209$ a year. Or one human life. We will still continue support for this device. If you are living. We currently do not make coffee makers. Thank you

  • QuestionCan optimize go through rocky path to mow another section? I have black granit stones as it separates it to another section? Also if I have sprinklers and get the charge station wet would it damage it? Does it connect to wifi or you need to subscribe LTE?

    Asked by Bbb.

    • Answer Great questions! This unit will not run over a rocky path it does have collision sensors which means that if it hits something, it will bounce in a different direction. You would either have to use two units or physically move the unit to the secondary area when it needs mowing. Rain or shine, Optimow® is safe to operate no matter the conditions. While most other robotic mowers feature Bluetooth connectivity, Optimow® connectivity utilizes 4G networks in North America. This gives you access to your GreenGuide app no matter where you are. Bluetooth is localized connectivity, basically, if you can see the product you can connect to it. This is fine for a speaker, but not if you want to change your mower schedule while at a conference halfway across the country. Faster speeds and more reliable global access allow you to monitor your mower as well as receive push notification errors directly to your smartphone from anywhere in the world. The app is free for 2 years and then will be ~$29.99 / yr after.

  • QuestionCan it be program to cut two separate areas?

    Asked by Florence.

    • Answer Hello Barnflo - Yes it can be programed to cut two separate areas. As long as the guide wires are laid down in a single loop then it will work fine. You will also need two separate separate garage/storage stations. This information is included in product's manual.

  • QuestionIs the mower self docking and able to self start when program like the house vacuum

    Asked by Sean.

    • Answer The mower self docks when the battery runs low. However, the app is terrible. Don’t expect the app to automatically start and stop the mower on a time schedule. The app is worthless!

  • QuestionHow many hours will it take for the mower to cut a half-acre lawn?

    Asked by David.

    • Answer Hello David - It can take up to 150 minutes. Please note, the run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain.

  • QuestionHow well does it cut? Does it cut wet grass? Will it cut grass that is 6" tall? How many WattHours does it use?

    Asked by Frustrated.

    • Answer Hi Frustrated. Thank you for your question. For the first few weeks of mowing, set the cutting height to at least 2.4 inch to avoid cutting the boundary wire and guide wire. The cutting height for the mower can be adjusted between 0.8 inch and 2.4 inch for model 33 and 66 and 2.4 to 4 inch for the model 33H and 66H. As our mowers are electric, it is advised to not use them in damp/wet locations or if it is raining. Wet conditions also cause the grass to be much heavier and could trigger a fault. Store the mower in a dry, frost-free environment standing on all four wheels. This can be schedule through the Greenworks App. Please refer to page 10 for technical information for you specific unit. We hope this helped!

  • QuestionCan the mower cross our driveway and continue mowing on the other side, or would the driveway need to be outside the boundary?

    Asked by DrivewayObstacle.

    • Answer Hi DrivewayObstacle. You can designate the area as a 'no mow zone' by setting the boundary wires around the area you wish to leave untouched. Please look at the Greenworks Optimow Installation Guide for a better visual of how the unit operates. We hope this helped! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bODPSGFq8sE)

  • QuestionWould it be able to cross a driveway to get to another portion of lawn

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there. The mower will only operate within the mapped out route guided by the boundary wires. When installing the boundary wire against an even surface, such as a sidewalk or driveway, us the 4"/10cm line of the ruler provided. This will allow the mower to drive past the wire even further, using the hard even surface as part of the transition area and will take care of the trimming. Please check out the following video for a better visual demonstration. We hope this helped! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1VT17h1snk)
