Hi there.The mower will only operate within the mapped out route guided by the boundary wires. When installing the boundary wire against an even surface, such as a sidewalk or driveway, us the 4"/10cm line of the ruler provided. This will allow the mower to drive past the wire even further, using the hard even surface as part of the transition area and will take care of the trimming.
