Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will . . . but most cases designed specifically for that earlier version will have a cut-out for the wrist strap connector. The 6th Gen model doesn't have that connector, so any opening would be an area for entry of dust or moisture.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Apple both the iPod Touch 5th gen and the iPod Touch 6th gen have the same dimensions (123.4 mm x 58.6 mm x 6.1 mm). The camera and buttons appear to be in the same place as well. Sorry for not answering your question with experience but I can't see why it wouldn't fit. I hope this helps.
