“What about a space for the camera? Do I have to take off the case to use it?”

The Survivor All-Terrain case for the iPod touch 5th gen. has a silicone port over the camera that swivels out of the way when you are taking photos. This allows you to take photos with the case on the iPod. Thanks! ^ Jen.

You do not need to remove the case to use the camera. You can open the flap over the lens and take pictures easily.

No, you don't have to take the case off in order to use the camera. There is a flap that covers the camera for protection. When you want to use the camera, simply open the flap and take your pictures. When you're done, cover back up the camera, and it's protected again. Easy to use.
