• Yes. It could be as long as mounted inside a housing if one is creative and it can be powered up and closely installed near the router!

• The camera doesn't mount and there is nothing to stop someone from walking off with it. I wouldn't call this a security camera but more of a room monitor. I love the camera for my use of checking on my kids and seeing who is at the door. Oh and spying on my kids conversations:-)

• I don't believe the camera is meant for outdoor use. Also, most any product used outdoors is not 100% insulated from theft as the world has taught us. Sadly, if somebody is determined to steal something, and they have a good opportunity to do so, then most often they'll try to take what they want. I hope that answers your question.
