I’m not sure, but when using the program all your data stays on your computer until you submit for filing. When you file on line your data resides on a server somewhere, and your access depends on your internet connection and their server activity.

I have a small side-hustle and doing it online one year it was well over double what it costs to download it and do it. Needless to say, I went straight back to downloading after giving them an earful of feedback. If you any extras on your return and you have a computer that you control, definitely download.
