• E-file is not something you have to meet some criteria for. Though with that that said, there are situations like filing so many years back that requires paper filing and a fe niche situations. Self-employment or health care type is not a situation that disqualifies e-filing.

• You still get to e=file if you file a 1099 self employment. On the insurance, there is a question and just put the type of insurance you have. You have to file the form that comes from the market place for the obama care insurance. I hope this helps you.
