Absolutely! I do this before I even start recorded so I can adjust the gain levels. You just need to plug-in your headphones into the aux port labeled "line out". Make sure you use this one, as there is another aux port called "line in" which is to connect your own separate microphone and thus wouldn't work for that purpose. I have a picture in my review showing how my headphones are connected to it so go check it out!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Amazing the inaccuracies of some of the previous answers. When in doubt visit the manufacture's website. 1) There are 1/8" jacks for line-in/microphone input and headphone output. 2) You can monitor while recording with headphones (USC Annenberg School of Journalism has a Youtube video on the basic operations that demonstrate this).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am considering buying this myself and from what I saw in a video on audio training using the zoom h1, you can definitely connect a headset through an aux port to monitor what it is recording. Additionally, you can also monitor the sound level within the screen and you can adjust the sound levels of the headset and the capture sound independently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you can not monitor what you are recording.
