Hello MelissaM - This model is 32.75 inches wide. If there is a wall or cabinet preventing the door from opening all the way, the side with the obstruction will require 12" clearance. Crispers can be opened all the way when the doors are at 90 degrees. To remove crispers, doors must be fully opened. - TREY@HAIER

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have the same situation as you do. It should work. The door will have room to open properly. This unit does not have handles to bang against the wall. You will see a gap however as this refrigerator is less than 36" wide. I used a trim piece to close the gap but if the gap does not bother you it will be ok.
