• If your outlet is modernized (three prong 110 volt household current) then it should work perfectly. Check your outlets with an outlet tester or have an electrician verify.

• My father in law just bought a house built in the forties. We had to rewire the electrical to provide grounded connections before we installed this washer/dryer.
