Kitchen sinks are usually better than bathroom sinks for draining. I was not able to find a secure connector for a bathtub faucet. Keep in mind the connector needs to hold back pressure so when the machine stops taking in water, the water doesn't start squirting out of the connector. My solution to hooking this up to a sink was to use a connector for a dishwasher. Also keep in mind when using a faucet use ONLY hot or cold don't mix them or you will back feed one of the pipes and cause issues with other faucets or showers. Yes this machine is free standing, but shakes allot on higher spin cycles. Four towels will take about 3 hours to wash and fully dry.

The unit is not mounted to anything, but it is also not portable so it must remain in the same location. We are not able to provide the amount of items, but the washer can handle about 15 pounds for washing and about 8 pounds for drying. - TREY@HAIER
