• I can't tell you the exact decibel level but its as about as loud as a box fan running on medium.

• Loud by my standards, perhaps all smaller units are loud (I have nothing else to compare). But, it does produce cold air - enough for small rooms (if you can get past the loud hum).

• It could be a little quieter but all in all not too bad if you're in a heat wave.
