can unit be used as a steamer? null

I have never attempted to steam but I don't see why that wouldn't work. Put water in place of oil but obviously less so it doesn't cover the food. You may have to keep adding extra water as it steams off but should work.

I wouldn't see why not if you get the water boiling and leave the basket hanging on the edge. Keeping the lid on would likely help as well. Good luck!
