• Yes, it does. From the Hamilton Beach website "When using the Bold or Robust setting, hot water is dispensed more slowly over the grounds, allowing more coffee flavor to be extracted from the coffee grounds. The Bold setting will take a few minutes longer to finish brewing than the standard brew setting."
