“When brewing one cup should the pot side get hot ??? I ask because mine does and empty pot cracked”

• Yes mine does so I always keep a little water in it when using the cup side.

• The flex brew has buttons that say Carafe or Single Serve. Be sure to push the Single Serve to prevent the carafe plate from turning on.
