“Must I use the keurig kcups on the single side or can I use my own coffee grounds? I'm not a fan of the kcups. Thank you!”

Yes it comes with its own adapter to use your own coffee. In other words you’re not stuck with using the Keurig coffee pods.

You can use up to 3 tablespoons of your own ground coffee into the single cup side. There is a reusable filter basket included.

Yes you can, the larger pot side has a regular setup and also there are "k" cups that you can add your own grinds to.
