Not sure as mine did not do this. However when using Kcup side only add 8-10 oz of water. If you add more ERR will display and it will not brew on Kcup side because water is overfilled for a Kcup. Full pot will brew if you turn switch to pot side. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question. The piercing nozzle may be clogged with coffee grounds. The piercing nozzle is located underneath the head of the unit. Please turn the unit off and unplug the unit. Allow the unit to cool completely. To remove any built-up coffee grounds, insert the end of a bent paper clip into the eye of the piercing nozzle. After cleaning the nozzle, run a cup of water through the appliance to completely flush the nozzle.
