I SPOKE WITH LENOVO TECH SUPPORT AND LEARNED THAT THE GEEK SQUAD IS AN AUTHORIZED AGENT FOR REPAIRS WHICH WOULD INCLUDE INSTALLING RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello bbw4chl - Some computers don’t have user-replaceable RAM and may require being shipped off to a service center for upgrades. You’ll want to check with your local Geek Squad precinct to see if this is something they’re able to do. They should also be able to go over any warranty implications specific to your model. If you do get the upgrade be sure to hold on to your original RAM, as you’d need to put that back in should you ever need to send the computer out for service under Lenovo’s warranty.
