this is from 4 years ago so this advice wont help you but it might help others, you do not need a new hard drive, all that needs to be done is the hard drive needs to be wiped and the operationing system needs to be put back on

Your pc needs a new hard drive with operating system install, as well as driver installation and any third party software (antivirus/Microsoft Office ).If possible you may also want data transfer of important files from your old hard drive.
