“I need a ram upgrade for my computer and just needed to know that if I wanted to have it installed, should I bring in my PC as I buy it to have it done that day in store or should I buy the ram and then take both the PC and new ram on a scheduled date.”

Make an appointment and take them in together. You may be without your computer for a few days, depending on the volume of appointments, so plan ahead for use of a backup computer. Be sure to ask the timeframe before you book the appointment.
