“Does in-store Geek Squad do BIOS updates and provide the CPU to do it? I have a motherboard that needs updating as the BIOS doesn't support the new Ryzen 5 2400G processors”

Yeah they will do it but they'll charge you $150 to do it. Completely rediculous if you ask me to charge more than the cost of new motherboard to make something up to the standard of what is being advertised. Just buy an older processor and return it after you update, or get a boot kit from AMD support.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DO NOT!!! Pay to have someone update your bios! If you are unsure, YouTube it!!!! It’s cost less than $10 (cost of usb thumb drive), to do it yourself. It’s fairly easy. I think it’s unprofessional for Best Buy to charge an INSANELY amount of money to update it. DONT DO IT!!
