I have a HP Pavilion g7-2010NR notebook that is approaching 4 years in service (the laptop is out of warranty)...lately, it has been overheating and unexpectedly shutting down - in addition, battery discharging faster than normal on a full charge...I tried cleaning the external vents with cleaning duster with no change in performance - I have researched removing the underside (L-shaped) cover and it looks like a mystery...have you had experience with this type of issue, and, if so, do you repair this issue?”
