The beauty of HDHomeRun is that we work across your internal home network. Internet speeds, download speeds, net neutrality, none of that affects HDHomeRun streaming throughout the home. RF from your antenna in, Connect to your home Router or Switch - The only Internet required is Low Bandwidth connect to our servers for the Guide Data A 100MB router is recommended, but if you have a GigE network you should never his your max as the highest bandwidth channel would be approx 18 to 20 Mbs

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The internet won't make a difference unless you plan on running it over the internet from say your home to your work or your parents place. In that case you'll probably have a headache on your hands unless you can upload pretty fast from your home network. A standard gigabit network at home will handle the 4 channels without much issue. But you can't just plug this into your antenna and then into your TV's. You need software to play and control the quatro. Perhaps a smart TV might have the ability to play the needed software. I don't have a TV. I use computers and computer monitors to play video.

The wired internet is used for the TV guide and shows information. The benefit is that if you lose internet, you can still watch TV.
