Best practice here is to stream through the HDHomeRun to a media device which is connected to the TV via HDMI - and use our Free Live TV app or a 3rd party app that will then play to the TV These include FireTV stick or box / Nvidia Shield / Xioami box / AppleTV4 / XboxOne / etc
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The HDHomeRun Quatro is a network connected tuner. It hooks to your router and can be seen by devices which can see DLNA sources. I read that Vizio does not natively support DLNA, though if you have an xbox or other modern gaming system it would via those devices. I found this article which seems pretty comprehensive on the subject: https://forums.techguy.org/threads/vizio-tv-connection-to-hdhomerun-device.1116673/ I use my Quatro with Plex (requires PlexPass for live TV) to watch on all my TVs and other devices on my local network or when I'm on the road, but I see that they have a native HDHomeRun Android and iOS client, so I assume that you can use it via ChromeCast and stream from your mobile devices as well. I don't have a Vizio TV, so I can't speak to whether they have a native app on the TV app store, though a quick google search makes it appear they do not. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you can install the HDHomerun app from the Google play store then you can use it on the TV without a tuner as it is the tuner for over the air broadcast. You have to be able to receive over the air via an antenna on the HDHomerun device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a network tuner so unless your tv is a android tv you would have to also get a streaming box to run the tuner application. HD Homerun the tuner maker, makes applications for windows, android and apple available on the product web site.

Then an app may be run on the TV called HDhomerun to display your Over the Air channels on your TV (If the TV can install HDhomerun and you also have the TV connected to your Ethernet or wireless network. You also need to run the HDhonerun installation software on a PC or Mac to configure the tuners and select channels for display. The Quatro has four built-in tuners so you could run 4 TVs at one time.
