• Sure Can !! as you begin recording a program - and then start to watch that same program in progress, you are now allocated to Playback and it Frees Up a tuner that you would normally be using in addition.

• Yes, you can record 3 OAT and watching other channel. This is a 4 tuner receiver.

• its a tuner, you can watch live tv via multiple apps including the silicon dust hd app for tablets, phones etc recordings you'll need something else to watch - this is not a playback device you can be watching and recording on 4 devices simultaneously vlc works just about everywhere
