Questionmy tv will sit on my counter without a stand. It will be mounted to the wall but there is barely enough room for the tv under my cabinet. I need to know if the manual control buttons are on the side of the tv or the bottom.

- Answer I am unable to find any physical manual control buttons on the TV. Powering up and transition between viewing options, volume, etc., are all managed by the remote control. The remote communications sensor is located on the center of the TV, at the midpoint and extends less than 1/2 inch from the bottom of the TV. Whereas the manual indicates the dimensions without stand is 16.9", I would suggest that with the remote sensor you might want to allow 17".

- Answer Yes, it does. It is located on the back of the TV along with the RCA, HDMI and USB connectors. Appears to be sized to handle a standard 3.5mm male connector.
