A:Answer I have used the cheap rabbit ears that also have the round/square piece. UHF & VHF, as I understand it. It worked nicely in my 4th floor apartment. (by the slider or windows) It depends on height, clear signal with few obstacles, distance from towers etc. There are nice flat antennas that pull in his signals. Mohu, Wineguard, Eclipse. etc, to name a few. I bought a Antenna's Direct inside/outside one to get my PBS station that the "ears" could not get. ($79) Channel Master is good too but if you have a house & ability to mount one outside, that's probably best. I cannot do that. To see where to aim them or to look up area's tv signals :
