I don't have an Xbox One S yet to try out, but I hooked my PC up via HDMI 2.0 and at 4k 60Hz it's pretty darn good in game mode. There's no judder from the TV, not sure what you mean by that. Typically any sort of Judder is going to be due to your hardware, and even the Xbox One S isn't very powerful. Certainly not powerful enough for 4k gaming or even 1440p upscaled to 4k gaming. It still struggles to play games at 1080p, it now just upscales it to 4k for you. There IS some input lag due to the TV's response time, but in a console game it shouldn't be very noticeable. The Xbox One S uses the exact same SoC as the Xbox One, so there has been almost no real hardware upgrade. They literally just increased the clock speeds slightly which gives it the slightest boost in performance in only some games. The real difference between the Xbox One and Xbox One S is the smaller size, built in power supply, and upgrade from HDMI 1.4a to HDMI 2.0. This gives the Xbox One S the ability to connect to 4k TV's at 60Hz, and is really only helpful for 4k Movies with HDR.
