yes it can, when you go to settings and click on updates you need to do it a few times. for some reason you wont get all updates at once, you will get them one at a time but once is finish enjoy hdr 4k. tv is really great

The TV does have HDR through hdmi port. I use my Xbox one s on it and looks amazing

Yes, the latest firmware released last month allows HDR through HDMI ports 3 & 4.

Hisense has produced a firmware update that supports HDR on HDMI ports 3 and 4.

If you want certified premium HDR (wide color gamut, 1000 nit peak luminance), you won't get it in a low cost TV or monitor.
