• I believe that it is, because it functions with a Samsumg UBD-K8500 UHD Blu Ray player. (Which requires HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.) It may require an (automatic) update to firmware V00.01.00a.G0519. I received the update before I bought the player, so I don't know whether it would have worked with the out-of-box firmware.
