Glad I'm not the only one. You will have to return the sound bar and get another brand. I bought a Samsung and it doesn't have the play pause issue that the LG had. Samsung has a much better subwoofer anyways...

I had the same problem with the play/pause and the hdmi arc wouldn’t connect either. I just gave up and returned the sound bar today. I may end up returning the TV for a different brand. I like the TV and it is cheap, compared to the other brands, but I like for things to work. Good luck with your sound bar. I wish you all the best.
