Yes it is possible to use the headphone jacks to run all television audio to power the RCA speakers, but unfortunately the television remote will not be able to control the volume for the output to that part, only for the television audio. A:AnswerWe use ARC with a Yamaha receiver. Works great. Either the TV remote or the receiver's remote will control the volume -- both remotes make VOL UP/DN go on both devices. Make sure to enable ARC on the TV and the receiver.

Please do a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset the the television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box.
