Yes, it will fit. Farthest distance on angled feet is just under 48 inches.

Sure..even 42''..and smaller. Must use a center stand instead though. I am..Tossed out the wide stands so I can use my old stand instead.

I don't think it would. I had a 50+ inch stand that I had to remove because it did not fit.
