“Why is that Best Buy has been advertising this television for the last 3 months on sale for $899, but is was not available for pickup at any of it's stores or delivery at any location and as soon as it becomes available they raise the price to $1299?”

I was thinking the same thing. The guy at the store thought $899 was going to be the new price, and they we're going to start stocking at the store. At a $1300 price point I would look at Samsung or Sony. You within $200 bucks getting in to their 10bit panels will all the eye candy.

It was delivered to me in 2 days. I would ask them to honor the sale price since it was not in stock at the time. A lot of stores will still do rain checks.
