Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this set I bought from BB with an optical only DD soundbar. What I found is that connecting the headphone cable does not disable the optical out, meaning the remote controlled both headphones and soundbar (problem). My solution was to use an optical splitter, running one cable to the soundbar and one to a set of RF headphones (also from BB). Now I use the remote to control soudbar volume, and the headphones have their own separate volume control. Works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t use optical for sound if you want to listen to lossless audio or Dolby True HD, use an HDMI connection instead. If you want to use headphones, use the Bluetooth option in the settings menu to connect your headphones.
