We're unable to advised if it is better than Samsung TV. There was a mid year review that placed the U8G in the number two position, losing only to the very respectable LG C1. Samsung is merely resting on their laurels and taking up valuable space in Best Buy. The game is rigged and the big fish get the prominent feeding hole in the pond. The Hisense representative is being modest to say the least and the feature set is just incredible.
