• In order to get the IMAX Enhanced mode on the U8G, the content being watched has to support it. The only streaming service I know of that offers any IMAX Enhanced content right now is FandangoNOW. For 4K Ultra Blu Ray disc, some movies support it, just have to look for IMAX Enhanced label on the cover. For the full immersive experience, your audio equipment and speakers will need to support it as well. I don't know of any soundbars that support it currently.

• IMAX works when streaming through a ROKU 4k and plugged into the earc HDMI. For better results plug the ROKU into a hdmi in a Dolby atmos soundbar. I’m using the Vizio M512A-H6 and it sounds incredible. Note that Dolby atmos and imax mode are active….

• I'm trying to activate IMAX enhanced on my TV as well. I'm watching an IMAX enhance film from Disney through the Apple TV app through the tv. I saw the setting in I saw the setting in the menu before I started the movie but then when the movie started it automatically changes to Dolby vision and then the IMAX enhanced option disappears.
