“I just got my 65 U8G tv. My remote doesn't have a backlight. Isn't it supposed to? I see that in many reviews. I called the tech support and they're "looking into it"? Disappointing..”

On the Hisense website, it’s description is “Backlit Voice Remote”! That’s all I know. That’s not what I got!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know this is old but for anyone that comes across this try checking your remotes backlight in a darker setting or pitch black room. I've had mu 65U8G for a year now and didn't even have any idea the remote was backlit or supposed to be backlit. Then saw someone online talk about it and wondered why mine wasn't until I finally put it under the blanket I was laying with to block out all the light and noticed my remotes button light up for the first time... lol It's not bright, the buttons are already white, and since this TV is so bright it basically lights up your room you won't even notice the backlight on your remote like I never did lol.
