“hello, how do you enable the "eARC" and "CEC" function? i have a samsung HW-k850 and my U8G will not engage any ARC function. I bought a new soundbar samsung Q700a and the U8G will not recognize this port. Is there a software issue with the U8G?”

You have to use the HDMI port that is labeled eARC and in the TVs picture options set the HDMI port from standard to advanced. You also have to enter settings to make sure HDMI CEC control is enabled.
