• The TV does have a built-in speaker, but I strongly recommend getting a soundbar. We got one of those $150 soundbar + subwoofer combos and haven't used the built in speakers since. It just sounds so much better

• Yes it has built in speakers which are quite good. Much better than the 60" vizio I used to have.
