Better than SONY? Quite possibly.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a SONY Bravia X900F that completely died after about 2 years. I loved it, I thought the picture quality was amazing. It really was, in fact. RTINGS was the reason I bought that TV because they are insanely good at what they do, if anyone is to trust, it’s them. So when my SONY died and I was looking at their reviews for this year, to my SURPRISE I saw the Hisense U6G scored an 8.1/10.0 - For this I had to do a DOUBLE rake because the SONY I had scored 7.9/10. Did this really score higher than the SONY I thought was absolutely perfect? How could it get much better? I don’t know how, but this TV DOES have a better picture quality than that X900F. It is unbelievably crisp, colors are bright, vivid and accurate and everything just POPS when it’s 4K. Do yourself a favor, straight after setting this TV up, go to paramount, prime, Netflix and get yourself something truly in 4K and you will be amazed. My SONY amazed in 4K but this just takes it a step further somehow. The only complaint, because there is one is blooming. Blooming is when there is a mostly dark scene and one light, usually white object in the scene is surrounded by a haze, or actually, bleeds the white into the dark. Blooming is present on this TV, which not surprising at this segment. You can see pictures for details. It is pretty bad… however, is this going to effect content you’re watching? Most likely, NOT. You will very rarely have scenes that will even allow blooming to be present, so don’t worry about it. WiFi is also ridiculously slow on this… I can run a speed test on my phone and get 426 down and only get 5.6 on the TV, this causes streaming apps to not function properly on the main system, but who cares - get a Roku, FireTV, GoogleTV, etc and you won’t even care about the onboard Wi-Fi speed. Overall; I would give this TV a solid 9/10. I think only a true LG OLED could produce a better picture than this. Hisense has come up MAJORLY in the TV business, and you truly get an amazing bang for your buck with this TV without sacrificing picture quality. For copyright purposes I do not own the rights to any of the pictures posted, the content is Kacey Musgraves - Star Crossed the Film on Paramount+ … which might I add honestly looks like Kacey is in my living room in person lolol.

Great picture Tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hisense 75" Class U6G Series Quantum ULED 4K UHD Smart Android TV is a high-quality television that offers impressive picture quality, smart features, and a sleek design. Here are some of the main features and benefits of this TV: Picture Quality: The U6G Series features Quantum Dot technology, which delivers more accurate and vibrant colors, as well as Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) for deeper blacks and better contrast. It also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision HDR formats, which provide a wider range of colors and brightness levels. Smart Features: The TV runs on the Android TV operating system, which offers access to a wide range of apps and streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and more. It also features Google Assistant, which allows you to control the TV with your voice and access other smart home devices. I’ve noticed that it can glitch or buffer if you don’t return to main screen before turning the tv off. Design: The U6G Series has a sleek and modern design, with slim bezels and a metal frame. It also comes with a stand that provides stable support, or you can mount it on the wall using a VESA-compatible mount or universal. Overall, the Hisense 75" Class U6G Series Quantum ULED 4K UHD Smart Android TV is a great choice for anyone looking for a large, high-quality TV with smart features and a modern design. I recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great picture tv for a really good price.

Good but small issue with panel
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally exchanged a TCL 5-Seires that had panel and hardware issues for the U6G, so to check for a good panel on it was crucial. Initially, the LCD panel had no obvious problems, and I was quite happy but later down the line did notice an issue that I describe below. Since this issue is not present in most of the content, I am considering not to exchange for another since I may end up with same or even worse problem. Panel consistency varies from unit to unit regarding color uniformity, and liked I mentioned before, the picture looks fine majority of the time. Picture quality overall is excellent with all sources out the box and even better with some calibration, 720p and 1080i OTA (antenna) looks good upscaled, although the TCL 5-Seies was a little bit better. Shows is 4K for HDR & Dolby vision are gorgeous with vibrant colors and deep blacks on native apps like Netflix, HBO Max and Amazon. The problem is gray uniformity (pictured) you see sometimes in 4K shows that has up or down panning in the scene, it shows faint horizontal lines (banding) along with little dirty screen effect in the upper right-hand corner. I posted a YouTube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO50hrNO36o that shows it, but horizontal lines issue does not show up well on video, however you do see the dirty screen on upper right-hand side. Motion handing is good and did notice any problems on action movies or shows but did notice a little motion blur in sports like basketball. This TV has options to fix motion blur like the Motion Enhancement in picture settings. The only problem is when this setting is enabled it causes occasional artifacts in picture. I tried all the presets and some customs settings for it but still got those artifacts so just going to leave it off. Design-wise the TV is very basic with everything being hard plastic, but nothing seems cheap or flimsy. TV feet are made of hard plastic also and are sturdy with little wobble. Length between stands is 51.9×14.0 inches are not adjustable to a smaller length so a long TV stand will be needed, mines is 70 inches for example. Android TV is the operating system and is pretty snappy on this model (unlike previous models) just as fast as my Roku TV. Switching between apps is seamless, and variety of apps that you actual would want are available for the Android system, an example of this is LG’s WebOs still does not offer the HBO Max app while Android TV does. Sound is good on TV speakers since volume can get loud, but you are not getting any type of bass response. I connected a Klipsch soundbar that stopped working after 4 days, the CEC system no longer detected the soundbar through HDMI ARC but connects via Bluetooth. Bluetooth connection is not optimal sound wise so just using the speakers for now. I also tried the soundbar on an older dumb TV, and it worked fine so does not seem to be a defective soundbar. To some things up if you get a good panel then your golden cause this is a good TV but does have some issues.

Not your average Entry level TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The U6G 75” is a very well rounded TV. It replaces a 60”LG plasma. That excels in contrast, without brightness. The U6G has both . The controls for picture & motion are numerous .I tried “Quantum TV’s”settings. A good place to start. It’s amazing that it can get such a good picture. The “upscaling” was much better than I expected as most of my sources were only HD.BluRays look great. Reflections are apparent. No worse than the plasma , it also weighs 50 lbs less. Had a TCL546 “open box” that was very close in picture (brighter) but poor upscaling regular TV. U6G went on sale…it’s not a C1 OLED. But for most people it’s way better than expected..

Good but almost great.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is great for the price. Sound is much better than the others we tried in this price range. I am very happy with the tv but I am concerned about the future. The tv has glitched and got stuck a few times. Turned it off gave it a minute and came back on fine. But we also have got a low on memory warning too. We don't have that many apps on the tv so I am concerned that as things update we are going to be deleting all the apps and going back to using a separate streaming device. Pictures are on a sunny day in a very bright room we had tried many tvs that don't do well with this and this one is still very vibrant and the glare from the windows is very minimal. The qled ( q70 I think) that we tried at 2x the price was unwatchable under the same condition.

Q: QuestionMost "Reviews" includes the words, "Disclaimer, I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion." How is it possible to receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest opinion? What is the Discount?
Asked by MichaelZ.
- A:Answer I searched on YouTube for this TV, and I only saw three videos. I watched each of the videos. Nothing on YouTube talks about the reason why people write the words, "Disclaimer, I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion." It seems very fishy the way people writing these reviews for Hisense TV sets include those exact same words. Clearly there is a form of compensation that motivates these people to write reviews - which automatically makes me skeptical of the sincerity of the reviews.

Q: QuestionAre there multiple versions of this 75” U6G TV? The back of the one I bought is different than the pictures on this website and Hisense’s website, and it has 2 mounting width options for the legs.
Asked by MrFixIt.
- A:Answer Hisense support and other people who have purchased this 75U6G recently have verified that there is a new version, as of June 2021. The new version is 300 Watts (rather than 350), has 2 leg width options, no frame around the front of the screen, a flatter electronics enclosure on the back, and a different VESA mounting pattern (300 x 400). Same great TV, slightly modified design.

Q: QuestionThe reflections off this tv screen look really bad in the review photos. Can anyone compare the reflections to the TCL S535 series?
Asked by K.
- A:Answer This TV has incredible Reflection Handling per Rtings. One of the highest rated non-OLEDs without the rainbow-smearing X-wide layer. It destroys the TCL, cutting Total and Direct reflections by half in comparison.
