I can tell you what NOT to do. Don't fall for the hype & buy a Monster cable. This goes back a few years but a buddy of mine was a rep for the line & gave me a Monster HDMI cable. The thing looked amazing & was thick enough to tow your car with (lol) but within 6 months it developed an internal short & started cutting out constantly.. The piece of junk is still kicking around here. I saved it to show all my buddies what NOT to buy. I don't know what it sells for but they are supposed to be the ultimate quality cable & it doesn't work as well as a $10 cable from Amazon that is hooked up now ................ ~John
