“My new AX5140Q sound bar is not being recognized by my new 65" Hisense U6 series TV. It won't open the sound controls on the TV. The HDMI cables are connected properly. HDMI 1 eARC to HDMI 1 eARC. What is happening? What's missing? Thanks.”

Make sure your settings are for that. I have that soundbar set with my 55 inch U6 series tv and mine works great. I did have to call Hisense and go through it step by step.
